Jan 28, 2013 – SYRACUSE, N.Y., Carrier introduces Carrier® Chillers, a new mobile application to assist sales engineers and customers to quickly and easily select a Carrier commercial chiller. In just three steps, users can obtain key technical data and product features for Carrier air-cooled, water-cooled or remote air-cooled chillers. Carrier, the world’s leader in high technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).
“We are excited to expand our mobile applications to now include Carrier® Chillers. This complements the Carrier® Rooftops app for light commercial rooftop equipment selection launched in 2012,” stated Greg Alcorn, vice president, sales and marketing, Commercial Systems, Carrier. “As a company, we continue to look for ways to make a heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) selection fast and easy for our customers. Using the latest mobile technology allows us to put the most up-to-date product information at our customers’ fingertips.”
The Carrier Chiller app enables sales engineers and customers to input the chiller type, capacity and compression, and then displays the Carrier products that meet those specifications. Users can get more information on an individual product’s key technical data and product features. By entering their zip code, users can also connect with a local distributor to obtain further information.
Current units included in the Carrier® Chiller mobile app include the AquaSnap® 30MPA, 30MPW, 30RAP, 30RB; AquaForce® 30XA, 30XW; Evergreen® 30HXA, 30HXC; and Gemini Select® 09DP and 09AZ units.
Carrier apps are free and available for download at Carrier.com for the iPad® tablet, and iPhone® and Android™ smart phones*. For more information, visit Carrier.com.
